Six things to keep close.

Perspective, not certainty

A message can mean more than one thing. AI can miss context, misunderstand tone or get it wrong. Treat a suggestion as one possible interpretation.

Your voice comes first

Read a suggested reply before using it. Edit it until it feels like you. You decide what to say, when to say it and whether to send anything at all.

Share a little less

Leave out details that aren’t needed for your question. A name, address, contact detail or private image may add more exposure than useful context.

Respect every boundary

Consent and comfort matter. A pause, a refusal or a request for space deserves respect. Guidance should never become a way to pressure someone.

Remember the other person

A screenshot can contain someone else’s personal information too. Consider what you are entitled to share and remove unnecessary identifying details.

Make room for real conversation

An insight is a starting point, not proof of someone’s feelings. When it feels appropriate and safe, a direct, respectful conversation can provide context AI cannot.

    Share the part you need help thinking through, rather than an entire conversation history.

    Check names, profile pictures, notifications, locations and contact details that may be visible around a screenshot.

    Check the privacy information

    Read how the service processes and retains information. If those details aren’t clear, wait before sharing sensitive content.

When AI isn’t the right support

Ashkam cannot verify another person’s identity, assess their intentions with certainty or guarantee your safety. Do not use a generated reply or insight as a safety assessment.

If a situation feels unsafe, pause the conversation and seek appropriate human support. If there is immediate danger, contact local emergency services. Ashkam is not an emergency response service.
