01Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small records a website can ask a browser to store and return with later requests. Browser local storage and session storage are different mechanisms that can also hold information on a device.

This policy describes the Ashkam website application. The separate mobile app and services reached through external links are outside its scope.

02What this website uses

Application cookies: none. The website application does not set first-party cookies or embed third-party services that set advertising or analytics cookies.

Persistent local storage: none used by the website application.

Session storage: tsr-scroll-restoration-v1_3. This stores page/navigation keys and horizontal and vertical scroll positions to restore your place when navigating. It is stored in your browser, is not sent to an analytics service and is not an advertising identifier.

Lifetime: the browser tab’s session. Closing the session normally clears the record, although browser session-recovery features can restore it. Clearing site data removes it.

03Cached files and local assets

Browsers may cache public HTML, JavaScript, stylesheets, images and fonts so they load faster on later visits. This is different from storing a tracking profile or a dating conversation.

Product imagery and the website font are served as local website files. No remote video player, social-media widget, marketing pixel or external AI chat is embedded in the current website.

04Purpose and choices

The session record supports navigation convenience. It is not used to measure advertising effectiveness, follow you across websites or personalize marketing.

There is no optional cookie category to accept in the current application, so the website does not display a decorative or nonfunctional consent banner. If optional storage or tracking is introduced, the disclosure and consent controls must be updated as required before that technology is used.

05Managing browser storage

Your browser’s privacy or site-data settings let you delete cookies and stored site data, restrict storage or clear browsing data when you close the browser. Controls differ between browsers and devices.

Blocking storage can stop scroll restoration. The informational pages still render without it or without JavaScript. Private browsing is another browser feature, but it does not prevent a hosting service from receiving the network requests needed to deliver a page.

06Hosting and other websites

Network requests, infrastructure logging and any protections added by a deployment platform are distinct from the website application’s browser-storage features. A hosted deployment must be checked for any additional platform-managed storage; this inventory does not identify cookies that a host has not yet been verified to use.

If you follow an external link, including a future app-store link, the destination service may use its own cookies and storage. Its policy applies to that activity.

This policy should be updated if the storage inventory, embeds or tracking integrations change. A new video, analytics service or advertising tool must be assessed before it is added to the site.
